Rooted in the cotton belt of Maharashtra.

We began where the kapas grows — close to the farms, close to the farmers. Twenty-five years of ginning and pressing built our name; a decade ago we added an expeller cottonseed oil mill, and this season we have just launched a dedicated turmeric processing line for the region's celebrated growers.

Today, under Ritesh Toshniwal's leadership, Tirupati runs three coordinated divisions with a single quality culture — and supplies mills, refiners and spice traders across India and abroad.

Rajendra Toshniwal

Founder & Managing Promoter

Rajendra Toshniwal is the founder and managing promoter of Tirupati Cotton Industries, with more than 35 years in the cotton trade. He started with a single ginning unit and, lot by lot, earned a name for clean, contamination-free bales that buyers could trust without a second inspection.

Over the decades he expanded the business downstream — adding cottonseed oil extraction and the branded cattle-feed line — always insisting that quality and fair dealing come before volume. He still personally oversees procurement and farmer relationships, and his floor discipline remains the standard every division is measured against. For Rajendra, the business has only ever had one rule: the buyer's trust is the only asset that compounds.

Ritesh Toshniwal is a qualified Chartered Accountant (2015) and the next-generation promoter of the business, which he joined the same year he qualified. Bringing a finance-and-systems mindset to a traditional trade, he has modernised how the company runs — tightening costing, quality records and despatch, and opening new markets across India and abroad.

He led the firm's vertical integration: setting up the cottonseed oil mill so the seed from the family's own ginning could be pressed in-house, and most recently launching the dedicated turmeric processing line. Hands-on across operations and customer relationships, he blends the family's hard-won trade instincts with a sharper, more data-driven way of working — positioning Tirupati for its next phase of growth.
